Dear Paul This printer was delivered just before Christmas. Foolishly I didn't think there would be two? updates to the software already. Mine is V1.1. I assume there has been a 1.2 and now a 1.2a. Perhaps Computer Warehouse don't include the latest software versions. I think Jigsaw Systems always open the box and include the latest disks.
As mentioned earlier I have never had any sort of Mac related problem up to now and the whole idea of a crash as serious as this has escaped me. As far as I can understand an extension conflict might bring a machine to a halt but the solution is to then restart and change the extensions back to the state before the crash. Not getting back into the machine at all doesn't feature in any of the manuals. Connecting the two machines didn't work. Have you noticed Concorde's timing is a bit out at the moment? My wife has a theory that some blackbirds near our window anticipate Concorde's boom and start a sing song. What they make of the plane's bad timekeeping is anyone's guess. My theory is that the birds hear the Air France one further out. Regards Bob Croxford In a message dated 30/12/02 13:51:5 paul bradforth.com writes: << It shouldn't.
