There is yet another factor to consider here that most of us have so far not
considered. The Pound is incredibly strong and we are always being told how
much this damages British exports, but by the same token our imports should
be dirt cheap!! Why are we paying so much more? Surely it is in the
interests of all photographers, graphic artists etc concerned to kick up as
much fuss about this as possible. Over the course of a year we pay an
enormous amount of money very unfairly that could be put towards other uses
and I'll bet for most of us that difference adds up to several thousand
pounds.
