Browser/OS support for this is somewhat problematic. It also depends on who you expect to be looking at the images, and on what platform. It is often recommended to use sRGB for web images, since it will match things better on more systems. For testing I'll often open up browsers on a Mac and Windows on the same monitor (using Virtual PC) to show the differences. With any web based set-up, you have to accept that many of the machines that are looking at your site will be set up in a way that would make most of us wince... I take the easy(?) way out and only have some of my black and white stuff on the website :-)) :-)) bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://northlight-images.co.uk Photography - Digital Imaging - Apple Mac Consultancy Tel +44 (0)116 291 9092 Mobile +44 (0)780 162 9397 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
