The Prodig guidelines (viewable at www.prodig.org) specifically state that postings about viruses are OT. There are good reasons for this which are explained in the guidelines. One of the main reasons is that most scares are hoaxes - as is this one.
It is appreciated that messages such as Dick's are sent in good faith - but it is a good opportunity to remind everyone of the real situation.
I would recommend a quick look at at the guidelines. they contain much good and valid information.
