None of the Win98 machines on my home network are listed as shared volumes under 'local', and I can't figure out why, but I can connect to any of them using smb:// etc...; life's too short, so whatever works is 'good enough' for me - though it would be nice occasionally to pull a file off the Mac rather than have to push it to the PC! > I am running Win 98 on my PC and haven't worked out if I can connect > from that to the MAc Yep, maybe an OS upgrade/new machine is in order - seems a bit excessive just to pick up the odd file, though!
