Hi

Always a problem if you actually want people to visit your site...

Nothing reduces visitor numbers quicker than forcing them to register. Well
actually there are a whole number of ways people regularly use, but thats
another matter altogether.

Depending on the complexity of your site you can use various dynamic image
serving techniques that make it more difficult to filch stuff, but this can
easily end up quite expensive if you're not doing your own coding. One basic
technique for stopping image hijacking is to check that the referrer is your
own site (see <http://www.hk8.org/old_web/linux/cgi/ch03_04.htm#ch03-12649>
for an example) If you're interested in any more info, drop me a line
off-list and I can give you the details of a friend who specialises in this
arcane sort of stuff.

Given you've tried changing the name of the file and it still gets nicked,
it sounds as if you have someone who is really keen. Have you tried altering
the name and leaving some other file with the original name ;-))

bye for now
