That's the <print life> tested combination. We've profiled it many many times and it's a great combination. Yes, you'll need a custom profile for best performance since it will specifically characterise your own printer. You can get through a lot of paper on a 7000 making tests. We now make Lyson profiles here the UK under licence from pixl, they cost 95 pounds [nett], that's for measuring and averaging 2 sets of charts (we do this since printers benefit immensely from averaging, it also lets us reject a rogue printer - ie one with too much variation beween sets). We also have the printer testing CD, it helps immensely with getting the right printer settings. We then offer to actually measure grayscale strips to ascertain the ultimate printer settings.
