After talking to the library and describing the difficulties in acheiving exact 1.5 Mb jpegs, they'll now accept my suggested system which is to make a 'save as jpeg' action for the biggest tiff & batch process them, if some are below the 1.5 then so be it. They didn't have a credible reason for exact sizes so it was easy to talk them round it! > Sorry if I touched a sensitive subject.
