I had a reply fairly quickly saying that she would be happy to halt the auction if I would agree to her price and payment method. The camera was new, still sealed in the maker's box with all the accessories and a world wide warranty.The location of the seller appeared to be in London.
So far so good.
I then e-mailed again, this time asking where the camera would be shipped from, thinking that if it was from London I could check it out before parting with any money.
Her reply was that she was in Sofia, Bulgaria. She said that she and her partner had funded the purchase of the goods from a store that had gone bankrupt and were trying to sell off the remaining items, which included amongst a bunch of cheap tools, a few digital slr cameras, including the D10, a Nikon D1H and a Fuji S2.
So near and yet so far.
Bulgaria. I just kind of lost interest...

I trust someone got a bargain.
