Advanced takes only a few minutes here, maybe 10, haven't tried it recently. >I'm getting worried because the spyder produced awful profiles (skin looked >like the Incredible Hulk's!), this is why I swapped to the Eyeone, and now I >read that the Basiccolour is even better! The Spyder can be nasty, you did right to move on up. Gretag's Match SW is a bit basic IMO. they make profilemaker pro for more needy users, but it's a BIG price jump. Personally I do prefer the basICColor Display SW, it gives a better - more print like softproof - also it seems to do better with difficult monitors and certainly has more user options, I hope it will soon (as rumoured) be available as an upgrade for eyeOne Display users. (BTW both eyeOne Display and basICColor Squid are made by sequel which is now a GretagMacbeth company, so don't worry about your device.) However, if something is wrong with your screen or video card, it might just be time to get a new one. more detail at http://www.colourmanagement.net/profilgear.html Regards, NeilB.
