Having posted a number of messages today, I notice the following: (1) It can sometimes take a long time to eventually post ... (2) Even more weird, the post can be replied to before the original is posted in my inbox. If you're experiencing simalar problems, please wait some time (24hrs) before contacting me (or any other list-mom) Lastly ... be aware of your own e-mail server, and your e-mail address relative to the server. For example ... I have since traced one problem to BTLWORLD.com and an e-mail associated with their server which worked similar to an "alias". That is, the e-mail address associated with the account allowed subscribing to, and receiving posts from the Prodig list ... however, any time the user wanted to post a message it never showed because the list-server would instead read the real address (the "anti-alias") and not associate it with any subscriber. This type of alias is created if you subscribe to an ISP, and also purchase a wwwsite URL. The URL account will also create e-mail possibilities such as <info[at]micro-investigations.com>. You cannot use this type of address for a list, even if the subscribing process was seemingly successful. hth & cheerios ... shAf :o) Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland www.micro-investigations.com =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
