Hi List

There is no specific or identifiable colour space for Microsoft Power Point.
It is largely used only for screen work. Since the control of colour and
viewing conditions will vary from screen to screen, it becomes a lottery as
to what your images will look like on a client's screen in the States and
again from one in Africa.

You can of course alter contrast and density of each image when it is in
Power Point, so that you can bring all the images to a reasonable common
denominator. The trick is not to make images full screen size and to create
backgrounds that are not recognisable as from the MS PPP standard pull
downs.

However, it is a fantastic tool to win business with, as I pointed out at an
AoP presentation in Manchester sometime ago. It means that you can really go
global with your clients at very little expense. Today, I have just secured
an assignment in Guinea from a new American client, on the basis of emailing
a Power Point Presentation to them a few weeks ago and I haven't even met
them yet.

Kindest regards
