[PRODIG] CRT or LCD monitor - Sep'03

After four and a half years of working life as my sole monitor my 
Apple 21' Studio Display is blinking which presumably means the it is 
on the way out.

Should I replace it with with a CRT or an LCD monitor?

Mike Hirschkon, in an article in the July issue of MacUser on 21 and 
22in CRT monitors says "LCD technology will eventually catch up with, 
and surpass, CRT, but at the moment LCD monitors suffer from colours 
that vary depending on the angle at which they're viewed, and smaller 
gamuts than CRT displays."

What do the team think?
