If exactly the same, it's unlikely to be the monitors themselves. Are you driving 2 monitors at once from your laptop or have you connected them up one at a time to check if the problem is recurring? I would guess that if the problem manifests on 2 monitors in an identical fashion, it must be associated with video hardware elsewhere (video card? even cables perhaps?) The only other thing is are there any strong or localised magnetic forces near to where your monitor(s) are?
