I am using a Canon 1DS (and no, there's no such thing as a cheap 1DS) and PS7. I've set the colour space on the camera to Adobe 1998 but after processing and saving the file the colour space in exif still shows uncalibrated. Would somebody be kind enough to explain to me what exif is and why in exif files are not tagged with the colour space. When I open pictures on other machines using another colour space PS always recognises Adobe 1998 with the prompt to convert so what's going on?
