Hi List,
Good morning.

I have just purchased a new Canon 10D, and have had error 02 come up several times, and also found that there have been times when although auto focus has completed I am totally unable to fire the camera to take a shot. Upon investigation of the manual (yes, I do read them!) I have ascertained that this 02 error is attributable to a Compact Flash card, however, I have three cards and the incidence of this error is apparent on all of them, yet they have functioned flawlessly on a Canon 1Ds as well as my trusty Coolpix 995 previously. I have also formatted all three in case the Canon is sniffy about it being formatted by its firmware.

The failure to allow me to take a shot seems to respond to switching modes back and forth a few times and switching off completely. But with no consistency.

Before I go back to the supplier, I thought I would ask those on the List for any tips/suggestions/help - anyone out there with a solution?

Have I a lemon?
