Hi Tim

No - all off one machine - as I do too (in my case 2 x 20 plus 1 x 17" Cinema Displays.) I use one 20" as my working window with main pallette items, the second for secondary pallete items (depends what app I'm in) plus two H/D finder windows (as I often need to move files from folder to folder) plus my ICQ window, and the 17" for e-mail, music and anything else that is not immediate to the work in hand (very useful when I'm on listmum duties <g>)

Macs have for a long time supported multiple monitors. In my present setup (G4 933MHz) I have one monitor running direct from the ADC (Apple Digital Connection - I think) and two more running from the DVI output on two Radeon cards through "deviator" ADC convertors. I don't know how many screens the Mac OS supports, but I do know of one web developer running 6 screens. Of course on my out of the box G5 I could have run a Cinema Display and a CRT (vga) off the video card as supplied.

I think Windows did lag behind on this in days past but I seem to recall posts talking about multiple screens on more recent OS versions. No doubt some of the windows guys on the list can comment on that.
