I've been out and about playing with an old Rolleiflex bought for peanuts on eBay. Quite exciting to fumble around with this icon after the ease of autofocus lenses on a D1h!
I've been enjoying this steam powered photography, but I'm set-up for 35mm scanning only, so I wondered if I could buy a cheap-ish flatbed scanner to make workable scans off the Rollei negs. I don't need quality other than to keep a digital record of work, and sufficient to maybe get a 10x8 print.
The new Canon Lide scanner is reviewed in this month's MacUser mag, which seems to suggest that it is adequate for medium format scanning, for around 100.
Any thoughts please?
