Hi Nick Whenever I have supplied images for posters (6-sheet up to 32-sheet)I have never supplied the images bigger than A2 files at 300dpi. In CMYK this makes the maximum file size about 132MB.
Trust me it's more than enough. The repro house will output 4 separation films from your file (or the composite image made from it), and then they'll ENLARGE the SEPARATIONS to make the images big enough for the poster. So, to answer your final question, you can supply them on a CD. Regards, Colin Thomas > I have been asked to shoot a series of Posters (6 sheet)digitally for a > client.
