I have compared results from our Canon 1Ds with those from our Sinar 23's, and in single shot mode there is little difference between them, however in 4 shot mode the images from the Sinar are far superior in both detail and colour fidelity. Another big difference is the software. The software available for DSLR's although improved recently with Adobe Camera Raw and Phase One's Capture One, is still far inferior to the software supplied with Sinar, Leaf etc. especially if time constraints are important.
