Dreamweaver appears to be the leading product in this arena, but should I consider Adobe's Go Live? How does the learning curve for either these products compare with the learning curve for Photoshop.
Hi Gordon,
You seam to have missed the Mac Expo, where not only ALL your questions would have been answered but you would have learned how easy the Adobe apps are now fully compatible, with the same interface, tools, short cuts etc.
Briefly, you can either start your artwork in Illustrator, then open in Photoshop or Indesign or (in any other order you wish) and export to GoLive with a click of one single button. How easy and convinient is that? Not to mention if you know the basics of Photoshop (or any other Adobe app) then you're half way there to master ANY other Adobe app, as they all share the same foundations.
Forget Dreamweaver (specially if come from a QuarkXpress background) it's a very powerfull and excellent app, but it can be too hard to learn, when GoLive will work pretty much the same level as any other Adobe app.
