[PRODIG] Microsoft to charge fee for FAT use on PC cards

Just as the price of PC flash cards for our digital cameras is about 
to fall, Phil Askey's DPReview reports on Microsoft's announcement 
that they will charge PC flash memory device manufacturers a licence 
fee of $0.25 for the use of the FAT file system on each flash card or 
device which uses it (The FAT File System is a Microsoft owned
