Thanks to Stephen and David for pointing out Irfanview, opened the files no problem. http://www.irfanview.com/ I always get a shiver running down my spine when I download freeware as I've had some hijack horrors in the past! This is a good little utility, though and seems to do lots more including self running slide shows on CD. Could be just the thing to give a client when you want to be sure the files will open.
