I am trying to get my Epson 2100 to work on my network with my new NetGear
Router:

It worked OK with a simple Ethernet Hub.

My NetGear router assigns my EpsonNet Net adaptor/print server an IP address
ending in 3.

Through the router you can only manually reserve or set IPs, but only in the
range from 2 to 51, for the last number.

Epson WinAssist will only recognise IP addresses ending in 255.

Epson Webmaster will not change the address of the adaptor.

I think it is possible to get Win XP to change the range of IPs available to
the adaptor...

Should you really have to edit the windows (XP) registry to get a printer to
work?

Neither NetGear nor Epson have been much help so far.

Thanks in anticipation
