This is  ListMum   re-naming  this discussion.

The thread " Re:sharpening plug in"  under this subject was closed on the
weekend,  basically for administrative reasons, but the content is On Topic
and I know many will be interested in expanding the comparative information
on this issue, with Sharpening being a final  prep step capable of improving
or harming  final printed results.
