I'd be interested to hear -I considered that but am about to go down the Canon flash route I think. I think the limiting factor could be how big your car battery is.... Might be that you need to leave the engine running, which might not always be practical or safe! Also, I know those cigar lighter sockets must pull some current to get as hot as they do, but at 1000W, what about the rest of the wiring loom? I'm no auto electrician - ant thoughts anyone?
