Dear David, You use the toggle switch and left and right when you are viewing the images, one one on the back. It will also have a blink as well for out of range. I hope you are shooting raw as the jpegs and auto colour on the d100 are rubbish compared to raw converted files. Just keep the auto white balance on for a rough approximation. If you can shoot a grey card at the start of the shoot it will give you better colours if you are using nikon capture, for colour balance.
