- and he really should know better. Come on Keith, even if this is heavy-handed humour it's tedious & daft. If you prefer to employ the "other" strictly minority brand of computer OS that's your choice, but please don't imagine your esoteric option confers any sort of technological sophistication. Most of us just want computers to get on with image manipulation & file storage at half the price of Macs, without needing their OS to be upgraded every few months...
As for Marie-Louise's difficulty, I'm surprised her contact with Ed Hamrick didn't produce a solution since I've found him very helpful. My old Micro-tek scanner came with Epson software, which I found clunky & quirky - I quickly abandoned it, deleted it from my (PC) system, and installed Vuescan, which continues to work very satisfactorily in upgraded form with a Coolscan. Dunno about Mac OS10, but delete Epson software, re-instal Vuescan...?
