Hope someone can help with this problem I have recently upgraded to Photoshop CS from PS7, using PC, Windows XP.
When I record files to CD-R and then try and open the TIFF files from the CD in CS the system freezes. The images actually show up in the file browser but as soon as I try to open any of them CS freezes and has to be shut down. This problem has only come on in the last few days as previously CS was working OK (if a little slow). I haven't knowingly changed anything on the system. I have tried opening files from the same CD on the same PC in PS 7 and there are no problems at all. Any ideas on what is happening with CS? Grateful for any help.
