Hi Matthew, I have heard that the new Photoshop (CS/8) has a much better interpolation method, (not sure of the technical, but improvements certainly) to the point that it is worth comparing with such dedicated software and considering upgrading. To enlarge an image, chose bicubic softer, I think, to reduce, chose bicubic sharper. If I have those backwards someone correct me.
PS 8 has so many other great improvements, including working with adjustment layers in 16 bit etc. that it is well worth looking at the upgrade this time. Many thanks, Ellie Matthew Roberts said: > I would be interested to hear if there are is any other interpolation > software available and their relative merits. > > Thanks > > Matthew -- Ellie Kennard Innovative Imaging Studio http://www.iiStudio.com Contributor to Photoshop Restoration & Retouching (2nd edition) by Katrin Eismann =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
