Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last query regarding sizing images
and the formula, it was all very useful but I couldn't help wondering why
nobody brought up Genuine Fractals. I have no experience of this software
but it is recommended by Alamy, it was just a thought as it is supposed to
be specifically for sizing images.

Anyway, this query is really a follow up from a discussion taking place on
the epuk list regarding the pitfalls of sending images via email. The time
wasted sending images only to have them bounced back because the recipients
inbox is full or the frustration involved in sending 2 or 3 images per email
when you have loads of images to send.

Ftp has been described as a more reliable and faster way of sending images
but what if ftp? Is it the same as the software you use to load up your
website to your ISP server in which case would I be correct in assuming you
need to have username details and password. Are we talking about the likes
of Fetch? I'm using this list because I know techie queries always attract
the attention of the bat wielding moderator on the epuk list. Would
appreciate any help on this.

Best

Bob Johns
