Yes, it has a hierarchical search that will search for files in a folder and its subfolders. It has a "flag" command (with keyboard shortcut) to mark files for further work. You can show only flagged or unflagged images or sort by flagging. You can apply keywords to images (stored in the image metadata so it stays with the file), and search by the keywords. You can run operations like contact sheet or your own actions on selected files within the file browser without opening them first. You can edit metadata for multiple files at once directly within the file browser. You can choose whether to keep metadata edits directly in the file or in an associated ".xmp" file so that your originals are untouched (metadata for camera raw files must go in associated .xmp files) File browser is much faster, particularly when working with many images. Panes are resizable and tabs movable. Browser configurations can be saved as workspaces (workspaces also include palette visibility and location), so you can have setups that, say, make the FB full screen with most of it thumbnails for image sorting, or make the thumbnails a strip down the side with the rest of the screen taken up by the preview image). You can invoke workspaces with a single function key to rapidly switch between various kinds of browsing and editing screen setups. Preview images up to 1024 x 1024 resolution for high quality previews. Build Cache for Subfolders command so you can create the thumbnail and other data for large numbers of images and know you won't have to wait when you browse those folders later. New sort orders, including "light table" -- you can drag thumbnails into any order and they'll stay that way when you come back to that folder. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff. =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
