Can someone please tell me how to configure my file browser in PS CS (on Win XP if it makes a difference) so that a thumbnail does not take forever to load? (Not literally forever, obviously, but a minute or more per thumbnail.) I had one new thumbnail added to the folder and it took a very long time which brought it to my attention. The option for high quality previews is unchecked. The file is coming from a 16 Mega pixel 4040 back. The machine I am working on has 1.5 Gigs of Ram and the scratch disk is on a dedicated 7600 RPM drive. The processor is 1.7 GHz.
