I don't know about the calibration method, but I can tell you that I profiled a camera for the Danish National Art Gallery. These guys are real nit-pickers (in a positive sense) and are thrilled with the results. The unprofiled results using the default profile, nice as they appeared, wasn't remotely correct (Imacon Ixpress). And these guys only do artwork reproduction. But that is real camera profiles from ProfileMaker Pro 5.
