I am looking for a flat screen monitor I can run off an ibook, I have never managed to profile the screen accurately, and the angle of view is too critical.
Can anyone point me at a web site that explains (or explain themselves) the difference between all the connectors VGA ADC DVI etc etc etc. I am floundering in techno speak here.
It will run a Crt quite happily but not a Formac Gallery TFT with a string of adaptors.
afaict an ibook chucks out an analogue signal (VGA?) so I need an lcd screen which accepts this, the Mitsubishi LCDVM91 has been recommended by the sellers.
Has anyone on the list had experience of digital to analogue to digital (Is there a significant quality loss and will it profile?) or should I just give up and get a laptop which is able to output a digital signal and buy a different monitor?
