Dear simon, ok you may or may not get stung for import duty. If you don't pay the import duty and vat then it wont be insured. As I understand it canon with honour the guarentee on lenses but not on bodies, so I have heard but dont quote me on that. Ok if you are not vat registered go to 7dayshop, they have now sorted the import duty and vat thing and it is paid, but you get no vat number as its a wierd legal customs loop hole (I may be wrong), it was discussed on epuk a while back and check with customs and excise, so if you are vat registered you wont be able to claim it back. You make a good 20% savinbg from them.
