I use a "Pro-User" Power Invertor INV330 which gives me 330 watts continuous with max of 600 watts. It cost me �75 which is 3x what you will pay in Halfords but it comes with proper fuse, plenty of cooling fins and a cooling fan [ though I have yet to feel it get hot ] and it will work with the following equipment:


1       Norman 400 delta charger
2       2 x Kodak DCS 14n chargers simultaneously.
3       G4 powerbook and Canon i80 printer simultaneously.
4       Bowens 100j Traveller pack

I have run it for 13 straight hours and it never even got warm so I can recommend it as a great piece of kit which will not fry either your car wiring or your gear.
