There are printers for that, Tim, but... careful. They are known to smudge... at least the ones I have heard of. I have also read that they are 'not as bright as screenprinted CDs'. Considering that CMYK printed CDs can be pretty subdued, that is not too encouraging.
Has anyone else any other experience? We are just getting our CDs screenprinted, but using Pantone colours, which seem to give the punchiest results.
