Have you done the thing with Windolene, the achive must have proper instructions, but basically you soak the pad with windowcleaner. If that does not work, I still swear by 'taking them for a ride'. You tell it that it is going to the tip, put it in the boot of your car and drive around a bit, (speed bumps are good) and magically - no more funny business! I am only half joking, a good shaking might work just as well.
