I've just recently got hold of the fab epson 4000, I also have the 2100. immediately started doing some nice (pretty sure they can be improved on) B&W prints on Hahnemuejle photo rag 308, have now finally gotten round to trying some colour work.
I first tried printing on Epson Premium Semigloss using the canned profile for the 4000 and what I get looks as if not enough ink is being laid down, I tried it on the 2100 with the canned profile for the 2100 and it was acceptable then accidentally tried it again on the 2100 using the 4000 profile and it came out almost exactly like the print from the 4000. Does this mean I could a naf set of profiles, I also tried printing it on the photo rag on the 4000 and it looks to have the same problem, not enough ink.
