Hello, Got an "Unknown Error" message (Power Light & ink / paper feed alternate flashing) on a Epson 1290 with CIS. (Tested on Mac OS10.3.6 on both Powerbook and G4 Desktop).
Checked for any obvious internal obstructions, and I've tried switching the machine on / off about 10 times. Pulling the mains lead out for 10 mins before reconnecting (I know - how desperate is this !). Before the machine started behaving badly it had printed out 10 A4 sheets perfectly. It was switched off overnight, and then restarted in the am. That�s when the Unknown Error Message was given. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can try next ? Really appreciate some help on this. Thank you.
