I have the feeling that this subject came up some months ago, so it may be worth checking the archives.
However, as a quick thought off the top of my head, how about a small portable LCD TV (the kind of thing offered by ardelectronics.com and probably many other electronic outlets) and the TV adapter cords that seem to be packed in the box with most digital cameras these days.

Am looking for some sort of alternative to checking out image thumbnails on my 1DS’s overly small LCD without having to go the Laptop route. Does anyone know of any compact LCD-based devices that can be used as an alternative???? Preferably something that could be tethered?
