I was getting this and other messages until I installed the new Adobe CR
plug-in from
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=2682&fileID=2524 .
Now everything seems to work.
The Canon software wont let you batch rename (as far as I can see), as soon
as you select more than 1 file, the 'Rename' is grayed out in the file menu.
Just one more flaw in dreadful software - it is so slow compared to the
adobe plug-in.
