When I was an apprentice photographer our instructor said"any filing system
will work,so
long as you stick to it"
Absolutely spot on !
Ive 26 folders in my storage system,A through to Z.
Each company gets slotted into the appropriate folder, each job is filed by date
and if
possible a unique name.
makes for easy recovery.
For me,because I don't do library stuff or speculative work it makes finding a
file
very,very easy.
BUT we all have our own goals and adopt our workflow accordingly.
I suspect My clients prefer to ring up ( ok e-email) and ask for an image by
the moniker
of "my company 003" rather than "FSSQ2838 "
so much more billable I think.

This sucks !
Sunday evening and Ive nothing better to do, roll on Saturday then I can switch
everything
off, well maybe not, what else is there?
