Ive spent the better part of an hour shuttling between Pcs and cameras trying
to reformat
my SD card all to no avail .
The Kodak pro red warning light blinked away merrily for 20 minutes then, as
the body
became warm enough to fry eggs on I decided it was going nowhere so switched
off, it just
kept on blinking.Removing the battery closed it down.

Inspiration, stuff it into theToshiba Laptop with its dedicated SD port.
YES it formatted the card.
Place in camera, take snaps, back in laptop and open snaps in Photodesk.
Much relief.
But its only temporary.
The card and individual files can be seen on the PC but I get the message
unsupported
image type.
Photodesk 4.20.5 is installed on both machines.
I then transferred the files directly to a micro drive via the PCMIA slot and
card
adapter and the PC recognised them straight away.
The root cause is the reader, time to spend some more dosh, damn.
