Hello to all Prodig listees.

Ed has now successfully launched the new format of the Prodig list,
and it seems to be running very smoothly. I notice that messages
generally seem to appear very quickly after sending, which will
please everyone.

I am on duty as this week's listmum, and there are many new options
for list members, so I am including all the relevant information in
this first listmum weekly message. Please read them as they are new
for the new list and will possibly answer questions you have.

1.The primary gateway to accessing your Prodig subscription is via
the web site. To remind listees, the address for this is:
http://www.prodig.org .

2. To contact a Listmom, use the "CONTACT Listmom" email form on the
web site (links to it can be found on the About pages and also on the
LISTEE help page.)

3. You can submit a Link to be added to the web site. Just visit the
LINKS page and click "Add link". Suggestions are reviewed once a week
and, if appropriate, will appear after being approved.

4. You can also add an EVENT to the Calendar. Make sure to submit at
least a week before it needs to be viewable (Suggestions are reviewed
once a week and, if appropriate, will appear after being approved.)

5. A number of the issues Listmoms ask Listees to pay attention to
are simply points relating to classic Net Etiquette. We have included
a page about List Etiquette on the web site. Etiquette is an
essential part of the Guidelines.

6. Subscribers can now easily swap between Digest and Single mails,
whenever they want, by updating their personal Options.

7. If something goes wrong with your mailserver and it bounces Prodig
posts for several days, the List server will put your messages on
"hold". You will get a notification that this has happened. You can
enable your message receipt again by updating your personal Options.

8. If you don't want to receive monthly reminders of your password,
just visit your personal Options and switch it off.

Have a good week, all!

Ellie
