Hi

Just to say I have had EXACTLY the same problem. New camera, old lens, but works fine on other Nikon (film) bodies.

Happy new year

Hi, list members.
I've checked the archive but can't find an answer to my problem. I have
a Sigma 70/200 f2.8 HSM lens and it works fine on my Nikon F4 and on my
Kodak 14n but when I try it my the Nikon D70 it'll take one or two
shots then the "f_ _" blinks to suggest that I don't have a CPU lens
fitted. If I turn it off then on again I can take a few more shots the
the same thing happens. My other Nikon and Sigma lenses work fine. Any
thoughts on this as I've only had the camera a month or so and I'll
exchange it for new one.
Many thanks and a happy new year to you all.
John
