I just read on the plone support page
(http://www.nabble.com/Product-Developers-f20094.html) that this forum
is for
"A list for add-on product developers to get help with their
Collective-hosted products..."

Does this mean this list is not for people developing products for their
company's web sites? for personal use?
If so, then I apologize for posting questions here. I have received a
lot of good and valuable help here, but I don't want to pester the wrong
people with my questions - I have a lot of them as I learn how to
develop with Plone. :-)

Again, my apologies for not catching that description of the email list
earlier.

Where should I post my questions as I learn how to make products for
Plone?

Here is good. ;)

Originally, we made this list in response to some discussions around the quality of add-on products. It was felt that having a mailing list where more experienced developers could help newer developers get their products up to speed would be useful. This was with open source/free-for-all products in mind, but we're not so elitist that we won't help people who are not able to release their code as open source, or where this simply doesn't make sense. If you become a better developer, chances are you'll help us with some open source stuff one day too.
