Hey Folks,

I'm having a difficult time putting this question into words...

In general, Plone uses *both* the portal_title and the page_title when creating the <title> tag. So, you end up with something like

My Page Title -- My Portal Title

in the title bar of your browser.

However, for pages like login_form, where the context is the plone site itself, rather than an object in the plone site, Plone uses *only* the portal title when creating the <title> tag. So, you end up with something like

   My Portal Title

in the title bar of your browser when viewing one of these pages.

In this second scenario, I want to include the title of the page_template when creating the <title> tag. So, I'd end up with something like

My Template Title -- My Portal Title

in the title bar of my browser.

This work takes place in plone.app.layout.viewlets.common.TitleViewlet. Is there a way inside TitleViewlet to get access to the metadata associated with a page_template? ie, the title.

Thanks,
Mike
