No, I didn't know that. The 2005 VW Wagon TDI comes with "Low Roll Resistant" tires, and it came off the lot with 34 psi in the front tires and 32 psi in the rear tires. I just found a sticker inside the rear side door recently, that specifies 36 psi front tires and 45 psi rear tires, so I aired up the tire to those pounds per square inches. The tires are rated at 51 psi tops, and most people run their tires at 85% of the top rating that can be found on the rim of the tire . Anyway, I hope correcting the air psi in the tires will will give me even better driving and mileage. The VW Jetta Wagon TDI is rated at 38 MPG city and 47 MPG highway, but many owner do a lot better than that. Thank for the other tips.

You would get even better mileage if you didn't have a wagon and/or put
wheel-well skirts on your car. Did you know that???

Great, you guy use the ethanol and gasoline, and leave all the diesel
for me and the boys. Greater supply with lesser demand is an economical
formula for a reliable source of fuel and at a great price.
